I'm Audrey — founder of Elisa Design, former corporate strategist, and interior designer. I believe a home should do more than look beautiful. It should support the way you live, function effortlessly and feel deeply personal.
Q: How would you describe yourself as a designer?
A: I'm a hands-on, practical and determined person — straightforward by nature (perhaps that’s my French heritage). I’m also a wife and a mum of two, and someone who cares deeply about the homes I help shape.
I genuinely believe everyone deserves to live in a house they feel proud of — somewhere that feels calm, cohesive and truly theirs. That belief is why I commit fully to every project I take on. Whether it’s a full renovation or a focused redesign, I approach it wholeheartedly. I invest myself in ensuring it is delivered thoughtfully, on time and with the care my clients deserve. That level of commitment matters to me.
Q: What led you into interior design?
A:
Interior design wasn’t something I formally trained in at first — it grew from lived experience.
We undertook two extensions on our own home (and a few more projects since), and through that process I discovered how much I loved not just the aesthetics, but the planning, problem-solving and coordination that go into making a home truly work.
At the time, I was managing global projects within financial services — high-pressure environments that required clarity, resilience and structure. Renovating while raising a young family gave me a deep appreciation for how important thoughtful space planning and practical design really are.
It wasn’t about making things look nice. It was about making daily life smoother — from zoning and flow to intelligent storage and multifunctional spaces. That mindset still underpins every project I take on.
Q: Why the name Elisa Design?
A:
The studio takes its name from my two children: EL(oise) ISA(ac) — a reminder of what inspired me to pursue this path.
A few months before COVID, my children asked whether I would visit their school to speak about my corporate role and how I contributed to society. I realised I didn’t feel proud explaining it in a way that would resonate with them.
I wanted to create something tangible. Something creative. Something that made a visible difference to people’s lives — and something my children could see and understand. Starting Elisa Design was a leap — but it felt right. It allowed me to combine structure and creativity, strategy and design — and build something I genuinely believe in.
I haven’t looked back since.
Q: What is your goal for your clients?
A:
My goal is simple: to help them create a home that feels considered, cohesive and truly reflective of their life — delivered through a process that is clear, structured and calm.
Renovations can be overwhelming. I know that first-hand. My role is to bring clarity, reduce friction and guide decisions with confidence, so they can focus on living their life while knowing their home is in capable hands.
